Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of jovrenta.com and any purchase you make through it. The site is operated by UNI-HOPE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong SAR, trading as Jovrenta ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. Who may use the site

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to give accurate information when ordering and to keep any account credentials secure.

2. Products and descriptions

We describe our trays as accurately as we can, including approximate dimensions, materials and heat resistance where it applies. Sizes marked approximate are approximate: trimming and upholstery move by a few millimetres across a run. Wood tone and grain vary between trays of the same model. Printed colour reads slightly warmer in the hand than on a screen. These variations are inherent to the product and are not defects.

Where a tray is not heat rated we say so. Where it is, we give the temperature. Please read the product page and our Care & Materials page before use.

We may change, discontinue or limit the availability of any product at any time without notice.

3. Prices and orders

All prices are in US dollars and exclude import duty and any tax levied in your country. We may change prices at any time; the price applying to your order is the one displayed when you place it.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send the dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example where an item is out of stock, where a price or description was clearly wrong, or where the order is flagged as potentially fraudulent. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer or per order.

4. Payment

Payment is taken in full when the order is placed. Checkout is operated by Shopify and its payment providers; we do not receive or store your card number. Details are on our Payment and Security page.

5. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

6. Safe use

Our trays are for domestic indoor use. Do not put a pan straight off the hob on any tray; do not put anything freshly boiled on a tray that is not heat rated; do not immerse a tray, put one in a dishwasher, or let water stand at the edge of the board. Do not use a tray as a step, a seat or a work surface for cutting. We are not liable for injury or damage arising from misuse, modification, or use outside the guidance on the product page and the Care & Materials page.

7. Intellectual property

The artwork printed on our trays was commissioned by us and belongs to us, as do the designs, photographs, text and layout of this site. None of it may be copied, reproduced, printed or used commercially without our written consent. You may not reproduce our artwork on any product.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to break any law, to interfere with its operation, to scrape or harvest data, to attempt unauthorised access, or to introduce malicious code. We may suspend access to anyone who does.

9. Third-party links

The site may link to other sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to it. Changes are posted here with a revised date.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have in your own country of residence.
